Contemporary styling and functional sleeping space are combined in this wonderful bunk bed. Top twin size bed and lower full size futon bed are great for siblings, sleepovers, and story time. Designed and engineered with safety in mind. Bunk bed has heavy gauge 3” diameter metal tubing, full-length guardrails, and sturdy welded metal slat system for mattress support. Ladders are integrated on each side of bed. Uses a standard twin size mattress and full size futon mattress (sold separately). Only use a twin size mattress that is 74-75" long and 37.5-38.5" wide on the upper bunk. Bunk bed is tested and certified by an independent testing laboratory to meet all minimum requirements of ASTM F1427-04 and U.S. CFR Title 16 Part 1513. Maximum total weight is not to exceed 300 lbs. on the upper bunk. Features:

Truck Freight Additional Information:
This product is too heavy/large to ship via the small package delivery services (e.g. UPS, FedEx) so it will be sent to you via truck freight. Truck freight is different than standard UPS, FedEx or US Mail in that you will be responsible for carrying the product from the back of the truck into your house (or wherever it's going).

The most important thing to remember about truck freight is that you MUST inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.

If you are ordering a very large item, please keep in mind that you may need a couple of people to help unload it. Alternatively, most truck freight companies offer additional services to help you move items from the truck into your house. Once we email you the tracking information you can contact the shipper directly to inquire about additional services. You would be responsible for directly paying the truck freight carrier for any additional services.

      Used this in my Son's room. It is very sturdy which was very important with two boys. Comfortable extra bed for guests.

      Service and delivery comments:

      Delivery was very prompt. Since it was so large and heavy the shipping compnay called to ensure we would be home to accept the shipment. The bed arrived in good condition with no noticable scratches or dents.

      A firm Futon mattress does not fold from bed position to futon position very ealily at all. Something needs to happen in this regard. We don't want a thin soft mattress so All Children's Furniture needs to work on that problem rather than just say they don't sell the mattresses; that's a cop-out; otherwise the bed is great, we love it!
